seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

picture a few posts down.

Haha i had no idea you had even done that lol. Seen someone use door trim a while back (on a white Jeep?) and liked it a lot.

For the record though, the door trim isnt hiding anything. Cut is nice and clean without it, I just prefered it with. :)

And completed driver side:
That edging only lasts like 3 weeks on my jeep. I'm gonna order some of the non pre bent 3m stuff online

Busted a Ujoint on the passenger side doing this obstacle at the Gorge. 2nd run and second shaft I've lost in 5 runs. Chromolly's at the top of the list.

On a lighter note, I had the hub pulled off, the inner out, tube stuffed, reassembled and tools back in under 30 minutes. About 12 minutes off my trail repair personal best.

Also noticed they yank your membership rights in a real hurry if you fail to renew.

Not certain I see the value since the takeover.
To me the membership is worth the $ not looking at all of the ads.

I just wish the vendors still did the monthly contest for parts.

Needed a temporary fix to isolate the rear brake line until the new one comes in tomorrow. Only had to move it to the other side of the street to avoid a parking ticket.

I'm shocked and horrified that this actually worked.
I've done this as well but I had to drive 30 minutes back from the trail to my house. Shock mount busted loose and took the brake lines with it...

Too much of a vender $ increase, but this is not the place for that.

30 bucks a year is really nothing, so I have no problem paying to support the forum.

^^^ Agreed. I can say having access to all the info on here has easily saved me more than my membership fees - so why not give a little.
