Here she is july 09 when i first got it
Here she is a few weeks later with 30s
2" boost came next
So much flex! Lol
Got a little to much lift from the add a leafs
Leveled out
Then i put some 35s on for a while, has the 32s back now
I'll have to find pics of how she sits today, plan on finding a 4.10 lsd 8.8 next and regearing, trussing, and locking the hp30 for 35's next
Just a name my friends in highschool gave it... Didnt think anyone would take it wrong but guess so... Anyways last winter i traded it for this
Missed it so bought it back 3 weeks later and traded dodge for my yj
Put a new dana 30 up front since the original was whooped but i just grenaded the spiders in the new one
Right on, heres last time i got burried took a couple full size trucks to pull me..
And you can kind of see the spider, half the teeth are missing on the top
Might have my yj sold tonight, if that sells i'll be ordering new 35x12.50 mtr's and rebuilding front axle with a aussie locker. Anyone know of a good bearing and seal kit?
Just finished installing lockrite and rebuilding front driveshaft, works great! Also went and picked up a 99 xj for my girlfriend thats lifted 6" on 32s, needs engine work though somethings clattering
Haha thanks man, this will probably turn into a build of both. I'm more excited than she is about her rig, gonna tear into engine next week and try to find whats knocking. Whats a decent mud/sand tire? I wanna go with mtr's but having trouble finding them cheap
VegasGT just ordered some for his XJ, and a buddy of mine runs them on his GMC. They're nice tires and don't burn off quick like some of the softer M/Ts do.
Hers is a 99, i think either a rod bearing or loose wrist pin is causing the knock.. I'll check out the dynapros, trying to decide on 33s or 35s too since im stock gears for a while
I have the 29 spline 8.25, gonna find a 4.10 LSD 8.8 to swap after i get bumpers, zj steering, and bushwackers. I'm just hoping it holds up on 35s i wheel pretty hard haha
Sweet you think the 8.25 is worth doing disk swap on vs swapping a 8.8? I want to run 4.56s with a lunchbox if i run stock axle.. And are liberty brakes bolt on?
I say save the money and keep the 8.25. My buddy had wheeled his very hard with 4.56's and a locker on 35 KM2's which are really almost 36's. And the liberty disks are bolt on. There are a few write ups about install.
Sweet i might copy that, can get the snorkel and flares for less than a set of bushwackers by the looks of it.. BTW your xj is sick! Diggin the color haha
Gotcha thats no biggie, just gotta try and do it when i'm not in a hurry to go wheelin so it turns out nice haha. Should have dome wheelin pics and vid from this weekend hope everything holds up
