Has anybody used these seat frames before. I think they would work great for me just worried about the quality of them, if there cheap and flimsy. I want to use them in my 1972 cj5.
Thanks for any input.
Can't tell you about the frames you posted, or how anything works with fiberglass tub, but let me know if you want an original driver seat frame for your 72. We'd have to figure out price and shipping, but it ain't doing me any good sitting in the garage. PM is probably appropriate if you want more info.

The only thing that worries me about the original seat frame is where it attaches to the tub it very thin and I don't know if the fiberglass will break.
I've never used them. I do have a fiberglass tub with original seat brackets, but mine's an 84 CJ7. How thin is thin on the fiberglass? Anytime you're bolting anything to fiberglass that needs any structure, use a large backing plate or Big fender washers to distribute the load over as larger area. I used 2" on a lot of my bolted items. Some I used aluminum or stainless backing plates made from flat plate.
