I figured since the other thread started out as talking about making a club, and what clubs are available, we should have a thread that's just dedicated to setting up trail runs.

The title says it all, and it'll be less cluttered.

So, the 9/18/10 Run to Potato Ridge was a success!

Next item on the schedule is Logandale on 10/23/10 according to McRoberts. Seems like we have a few interested parties! Who all is planning to attend?

If there is anything in the meantime, or someone local wants another rig to ride with them, just post up and see if anyone is available!

So you're saying you don't want me to have a smart phone?
You can do what you want. If you don't want a smart phone, don't get one. Either way, I will have a truck eventually. I am just not willing to go further into debt to do so.

If anyone has or can get a free TJ rubicon driveshaft, please let me know. I could use one temporarily. That way I can install my SYE and body lift, without having to have driveshafts built. At least I believe that will work...

What Garza said.

How long until you have shafts built?

Just was over at figspeed picking up a breather filter for the expo on my lunch break and ran into a friend of mine that owns the machine shop next door. Looks like I might be doing some side cad work drawing AR lower and uppers for him. He showed me the prototype that he built and it looks sweet in my gun dumb eye, at least the machining does since I don't know the difference between good and bad. Basically he's building them as a partnership with these guys. http://www.sentinelfirearms.com/ If I could get one for about a grand fully built with just standard sights, is that a fair price? I know nothing about them... I do know other products of his that I've picked up from him he's hooked me up HUGE. Heck, I might actually be able to trade some cad work for the lower and then just have him build up the rest. Well, I guess the upper too. He wants help drawing the uppers. I guess the prototype is working well, he's done a few 3 gun matches over the past couple weeks problem free supposedly.

Oh, and WTF!!!! I had to run home also on my lunch. Ordered heims for my steering monday, still not there, hopefully later. Those are coming from san luis obisbo. The tubing I ordered Wed though out of Sacramento is already at my house. LOL If I can do my steering without bends and IF the heims still show up today I may be driving this thing to work on monday!

I've bought 2 guns and took the CCW class from Sentinel....Ted is a cool guy! He would probably hook me up on the new one they are doing, but I want it raw aluminum, not the finished black they do. See if he'll make us a deal :D

LOL, I'm bypassing Sentinel and going straight to the machine shop. I'd probably ask for something like that too honestly. Or get him to machine something random in one. You should see the F150 in the back of the machine shop that he owns that just needs plumbed and wired. It's absolutely art work!!! It's an Armada Engineering built truck if you've ever seen anything they've put out for reference.

Like I said, friggen art work and he's got a fully built truck sitting there with no time to finish it!!! Disgusting!!!

This is a 1000+ hp, 18" travel all around, awd rally truck!!! It's gonna be powered by a Turbo charged inline 6 2JZ and a Powerglide transmission

Or more reference, this is the owner of Armada's personal Chevy S10. My buddy at the machine shop literally made the shocks on this truck, these aren't like Kings, they're his shocks.

Check out the billet mezzanine arm in the rear with the coilovers and bypasses laying horizontal facing towards the rear.

Not until after the lift. Adam's said that they could build shafts that would work, but they may vibrate because I dont have adjustable control arms yet. I have to save until I have enough to do the lift, and it's going slow. OT slowed down a bit. Still hoping for June/July, but not sure yet. Still trying to find the time to complete some of the stuff that I have parts for.

You can still do the SYE but your Jeep would be a pavement queen until the shafts are built. Just drive her in 4hi which is what I would assume you are doing now?
