hey guys. so like the title says I just bought a yj that has a rebuilt engine and tranny but has been sitting for 2 years. the owner said it needs the clutch to be bled as well as the brakes. the clutch will just go down to the floor and not put the car into gear. does this sound like it just needs to be bled?

i am not mechanically inclined btw if you couldnt tell
Ya, well that is about to come to an end. Jeeps and wrenches are like Beer and Pretzels:rofl:

Didn't anyone tell you there are only two kinds of jeeps: those that are coming apart and those that are going together.

I haven't had to do an internal slave before but I have done zillions of external slaves (had to be a Chrysler moron that moved it into the bell housing). They are unusually a pretty straight forward job.

First rule of hydraulic systems is keep in clean.
Second rule of hydraulic systems is keep it clean.
third rule of .... (you get the idea)

take your time, and get some plugs to put in the lines, it will keep everything from getting coated in brake fluid.
