Alright guys, I figured I should start a build thread since it's the cool thing to do, and I've got some pretty cool stuff boiling up. I'll just post some pics for now and get posting on the progress as it....progresses.

First day I got it....20 degrees, top down, doors off. Still the best day of my life.

New meats. Bye bye chrome grill cover. Thank God.

RE BB, wheelin @ the Badlands...that's the famous "Pumpkinator" behind me.

Why they call me "Float Test"....

Hittin' up the wall that James (Pumpkinator) can't do....easily.

Chillin

RC 2.5" installed...not leveled, yet. Pics of that will be up later.

@ The Badlands again...this was the "Hurricane Ike" run

I always assume someone else is scoping the same stuff is me....so it's either 'buy it now' or wait until another one comes along. In this case, these hardly ever come along and especially at that price. That just saved me a bare minimum of $200 on the 609.

Let's see how 'cheap' I can build $$ axles.

I'm definitely going to run high steer arms. I don't like the machining costs out there so I'll see what I can do about that. I'd love to run the Dodge BJ/UB knuckles but that locks me into smaller brakes. I've been researching my *** off and it looks like the best route is to just go with high steer arms and do a separate tab for the drag link like you did.

But if anyone knows how to run those Dodge knuckles with bigger dual piston calipers, I'm all ears. So far, I haven't found anyone that's done it.

Oh while we are on the C topic, to get the inner tube thats left in the C its self make 4 cuts with a torch at 12-3-6-9 and the let it cool down and as long the OEM weld is cut past its root it will fall out once cooled and it had time to shrink.

KP C with the slug cut out.

Touch up any gouge marks or voids with your welder.

Jason.

No, I'm running an invisible antenna that's mounted back in my glove box. The hole in the panel and tub is plugged and I put a Trail Rated badge over it. It's in the same location as stock, only on the passenger side instead of the driver. I always think it's funny when I see a highly modified TJ with the badge intact so I thought I'd play along, as well.
