We had a ZJ Dropped off at the shop this week, so we figured, no better time than now to work on some DIY bumpers.

We'll keep updating this as we get further along.

Here is the design of the front:

I am interested in having a removable winch or the winch set lower to give more air flow over the radiator. I like the look of your bumper and I am in need of getting a new winch bumper to fix my air flow issues. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Air will flow threw the radiator under the winch the way they have it set up

1. Here's a pic of my old ARB bumper. Why? well, it has the license plate and lights in front of the radiator... never had cooling issues even with the bigger motor. So, I don't believe that where you have the winch mounted that it would have any affect on cooling issues at all. The bumper and placement of the winch look great.

2. The weight of the bumper will be a consideration for some. Especially those with the stock 20yr oldish springs up front.

3. Have you strength tested the tow points on the bumper or like the old warm ads, pulled your ZJ vertically off the ground to see if "it'll hold?"

I'm sure the guys would really like to see that...it'd be a great selling point as well.

This isn't our first rodeo :highfive: We've been building bumpers for 10 years now! If welded correctly, the tabs are not going anywhere.

Firstly, nice avatar. Secondly, the bumper offers 2 light mount provisions on the top next to the headlights. We also offer a fairlead light bracket for regular lights and also our 10" led light bar. Also our current DIY tubework options for Prerunner and Hoop-forward include 2 light tabs.

That's the point, we've got a bunch of guys looking for a good quality bumper.

I've signed brimy up for the rodeo tour....

Looks good! How does it mount to the jeep? I've got front end damage and would love to get one.
