Got to the line all the way 125 in my V8 and it kept going faster it did not try to hold me back4LBlackMamba said:i hit 106 on the beltway around here. felt like all of the nuts and bolts were gonna come loose from all the vibration though. but hearing the engine rush up into over drive was TOTALLY worth it. 4.0
How did you get that kind of cladding?Tankmeister said:Replaced the old tore up badge with this one from a vendor at the pa jeep show last year
Edit - oh and that's my girlfriend she wasn't prepared for the picture lol
This ^ love the base model a lot less junk that I don't need like beeping Vic's and overheads that my v8 had.ejschultz said:Base ZJs from 93 had that cladding.
Hey hey hey. Do you have a windshield wiper on the back window??? There was a rumor that a handful made without one. Have yet to find one...Tankmeister said:This ^ love the base model a lot less junk that I don't need like beeping Vic's and overheads that my v8 had.
OT:
When you get death wobble after a wheeling trip and you're confused because there should be no reason since almost everything is in top shape -.- except the uca's which could use some tending to but probably not the cause.
Still had a good time though

Put a nissan gtr motor in itLSx deserve to crash and burn. I hate those motors. There's no originality in an LS swap. Everybody's done it to every kind of car, ever. It's all been done before. I like to see creativity and uniqueness, not something they make a kit for.
I think I'm gonna try and supercharge the 4.0 just because it can be done. Think an M62 might be on the small side for an engine that big?
You know you drive a ZJ when the smallest engine available to you is, in any other application, huge.
That was my thinking. M62 only came to mind because you can get them from early Xterras, and I know a guy.M90 or M120 would be a better fit.
Nothing's wrong with them, but everything RWD ever has had an LS1 put into it. Mustangs, Miatas, CJs, TJs, XJs, ZJs, 240s, Z-cars, Rangers, RX7s, I could go on. Everyone goes LS1, and there's no creativity in it. A lot of cars have kits available, and everyone else can at the least buy a standalone wiring kit, so it's just weld-new-mounts, drop-in, and go. There's no challenge, no ingenuity in an LS1 swap. What's wrong with them if they work? They don't make a kit for a zj bad bird did one.

Indeed I do but it's kinda pointless since the wiper blade is shotMcCloudsZJ said:Hey hey hey. Do you have a windshield wiper on the back window??? There was a rumor that a handful made without one. Have yet to find one...

That's the metal sleeve inside the axle side of the control arm bushing that's supposed to house the bolt, which is supposed to be circular, the sleeve had something go wrong because its the shape of a tear drop, scumbag rough country, called them and just have to find my proof of purchase to get another free.dnuccio said:mount broken off? or just missing the bolt? i cant tell
I called them and they said its definitely not supposed to look that way, just gonna try to get my sleeves from themsevenscrew said:Mine look like that I think
The more time I spend on jf, the happier I am I didn't go straight to the rough country. Stories keep getting worse.Hmm mine are also rough country lol.
I don't have death wobble tho
I called them last night and the guy was kinda ******y but he said as long as I give him the order # for proof of purchase they'll send out the replacement. Seemed simple. Guess ill find out for surebmeyst said:The more time I spend on jf, the happier I am I didn't go straight to the rough country. Stories keep getting worse.
