But tonite as I rode home with the top off I really loved my rust-bucket YJ! At damn near 300k she still runs strong and I won't give it up for the world. She just isn't so pretty right now so some cosmetic work is coming, but after a long time w/o it and just military vechiles it was twice as sweet.

Just figured y'all would get it more so than the rest of the site. ;)

got a couple orders to get done this weekend, this week has been a busy one so I need to get to work, but aside from that Great! How are you liking them?
Carlos,
Do you think you could do a monkeys fist over a bearing drilled for a shift knob if I sent one to you? Color matched to my handles of course.

Yup, shouldn't be too hard to do. PM me and we'll work it out.
Cool, I'll start looking for one and let you know.

Ah that'd be sweet. Luckily it's getting warmer out now cause My aluminum shifter is cold as funk I'd like a monkey knob in my hand instead.........uhhhh

Too tired to finish other fender tonight... I got the tube bent for the other side and called it quits... I didn't feel like spending another 3 hours cutting my hood...

I've considered making one for mine, with a button in the middle like Canman's for an air horn. But I have to get and air horn set up first.
I'm gonna redo mine smaller, bit add a button too. The golfball doesn't clear the hand throttle, ping pong ball filled w great stuff maybe? I need ideas for a smaller ball and no, my lefty ain't an option Haha

Make a jig with 2x4's and pencils. Hardest part would be making the jig. Lol.
Its easy. I used cardboard and pencils. Its just a 4pt diamond to hold your shifter knob, in my case a golfball. No measuring. I just laid the ball on the cardboard, took all four pencils and poked em through the board around the ball.

Dang. I found a ps BFH bumper with stinger $250 for a Tj. I really like the look an the one piece design. New their like 375$ w/o shipping. If its just plug welding and redrilling some holes I'd call it a deal.
