well doing some drift busting I got pulled into one and the snow was up over my hood. My little brother pulled me out and after un hooking i noticed this. I tried to use my e break one. i pushed it 3-4 inches and it made some horrible noise. i pulled the release and the peddle didn't come back up. when I started driving it didn't feel like the breaks were on at all. I have never had to deal with an E break before any ideas?
pull the ebrake release lever.. reach down and pull the ebrake pedal towards you till the light goes out.. then let go of the release lever. The light should stay out.
i have never seen this light before. i have used the ebreak may times before and it has never shown up. also i have pulled the lever and pulled the pedal back at me and it didn't make a difference. now it just flops around a little.
I would fix the e brake. Sounds like you snapped the cable for it. Not sure why it would set off a light but start with properly fixing the issue.
