I figured since the other thread started out as talking about making a club, and what clubs are available, we should have a thread that's just dedicated to setting up trail runs.

The title says it all, and it'll be less cluttered.

So, the 9/18/10 Run to Potato Ridge was a success!

Next item on the schedule is Logandale on 10/23/10 according to McRoberts. Seems like we have a few interested parties! Who all is planning to attend?

If there is anything in the meantime, or someone local wants another rig to ride with them, just post up and see if anyone is available!

oh dear, guy selling the axles and wheels and hub caps overheard a convo i was having on IFSJA about lockers and mentioned he has a geniune gear quick-lok, basically new, in the box.

and that he has a set of locking hubs.

lmao, dammit. i need to stop posting stuff where that guy can see. He just keeps telling me to bring extra cash haha.
DOOO IIIITTTTT!!!!!

I just learned about Spartans tonight while wrenching on a buddy's jeep; After Detroit's softlocker patent expired, Spartan came out with their lockers: everything that the Detroit has + the few weak links (if they can be called that) that Detroit has, fixed and made better. Since they are relatively new, only a few years old, they are a pretty solid unit for decent prices.

Cool! Thanks for the info!! I figured that since most of the reviews i read were good, i'd give them a go.

I thought the spartan lockers were based off of Detroit's quik-lock? Wasn't the soft locker full case?

Puck, how much are you paying to have to Spartans put in if you don't mind my asking?
