Hi all this has been posted on a couple of other jeep forums so thought I'd put it on here as well, company requires 150 people willing to buy to put it in production, so if your interested send them an email.

Hi all
Have just returned home from Dromana in victoria where airflow vector have had a good look at the wk2 grand cherokee . Michael from airflow says they can make a snorkel work for this vehicle, but now need genuine expression of interest before they will tool up to make it. Please contact them via email if you are serious about a snorkel for your grand.. info@airflowvector.com . They will have some more information on their web site and facebook with in the next week.
thanks for your time

Hi guys, Airflow have received 40 requests for snorkels so far, it's a good start but we need to get 150, so keep them coming, we need to support manufactures who are willing to make accessories for the WK2, so send them an email or contact them on face book.

Here's an up date on the snorkel.

Gidday again
this is just in from Michael at airflow
I have posted that we have started making the kit on Face book.
We have had about 40 responses.
So we have started making the snorkel kit. Should have a shape shortly.
I am doing some performance simulations to see what is possible at the moment
Will talk to you and a couple of other what it will look like soon.
This will cover the diesel.
We will need to check the petrol version to see if needs a different kit?
We are trying to get the web site fixed . Some nice person has hacked into the site.
Keep in contact
Please put this on to the site you are posting on please.
Kind regards Michael
great effort guys sounds like its happening

I have a genuine CAI on my Jeep, it works great and best of all I don have some ugly elephant trunk on my vehicle. Not until at least I retire and tow a caravan aimlessly around Australia.
If you don't want or need a snorkel that's fine, there is also no need for you to comment on this thread in that case!.

If your air in take is located inside the engine bay (as most of these so called cold air intakes are), then it is not a genuine CAI!, as all the air in the engine bay has been heated by the radiator and engine and exhaust etc, (try getting a temp reading from inside your engine bay and one from outside, no need to guess which will be cooler! ).
The only way to have a true CAI is to source the air from outside the engine bay, and preferably from as high up as possible where the air is cooler away from the road!.

No matter where it comes from the air will heat up, when air is compressed its temperature increased either by compression or ram air it still get hotter.
True!, but the cooler the air the more dense, the more dense the air the more can fit in a cylinder, the more air in the cylinder the more power!.
That is the whole point of a CAI, to get more air (oxygen) into the engine to get more power out!,

Not much news lately from Airflow, last news was it would be ready by the end of the year, we've had word that Safari snorkels are developing one for the WK2 as well, the big news is that Murchison Products are in the test faze for their snorkel for the WK2 and those that have had a chance to have a sneak peak say it looks good and suits the WK2 well, Murchison Products are saying early next year for their snorkel

Can't tell you if it's one peace as I haven't seen it and there are no photos, we'll just have to wait until Murchison products decide to show us what it looks like, keep an eye on their web site and/or Facebook page
