Let this thread be an inspiration to all of us doing mods, maintenance, or repairs.

I'll start it off, over the holiday weekend, I did an oil and filter change, fixed a couple rattles, did the front brakes (new rotors and pads), and swapped the brake fluid.

Yes I did. That prince has set me up good. Remember when you asked if I bought your membership and I said no?

Yeah I lied.
I've decided soon as I can afford it, gonna get a lifetime membership, this site has been nothing but helpful and insightful :D. Will take time though.

The houses on her street are all attached and her neighbors house went up crazy fast luckily her house looks relatively un cooked. We loaded her 3 brothers and her dad into the zj to keep warm and loaded her 88 year old grandma into the ambulance so she could be taken care of

sounds like it could have been much worse. At least all are safe. Houses and material objects can always be rebuilt or accumulated.

spent some more money:

and this:

and this:

luckily.. these were not huge purchases.

The 900.00 to sand and paint the entire YJ Hammered Finished Black is money well spent IMHO ;)

i have seen many people paint "parts" of their Jeep with this color. I think/hope I am the first one to paint the entire Jeep with it. The material is cheap too!

I think my lil YJ is going to look sweet! It's only taken since November... what's another week

And the gf got her first jeep battle scar. A bolt fell on her head. Unfortunately it was the biggest bolt on my jeep, lower links.
