My parents bought my jeep. Im very thankful. A lot of the stuff going on it. like my rims and lift. those were christmas presents.. i pay for everything else. Thats why im making stuff on my own. Its cheaper. Thats also why not a lot of stuff has been done to it lol.

Ok i wasent going to post about this but I guess i will, but make it short. I think I can speak for most of the people in this thread by saying that Im not some rich kid who just points and receives , and can build the rig of his dreams without lifting a finger or losing a dime. Yes my parents help me pay for jeep parts, but it is because they can and because they want to, not because I asked them too. Honestly the main reason I have been working on my truck for almost three years, and it still isn't complete is because i could not afford to buy the parts i needed, and did not want to ask my parents. It wasn't until a few months ago that they started paying for mostly everything so I can get this finished. I spend all of the money I have on my truck, and my parents are currently buying what i cannot afford, and I am going to pay them back for everything as I get the money. And yes they pay for insurance, registration etc. This is not because im some stuck up *****, but its because my parents love me and are in the position to do so. They want to see me save my money when i can, and not spend it on things i do not need to.
X2 for me

sent from the bottom of an empty money pit

i did buy it as is with current mods but it needs better daily tires and a lot of work done to it, which i'm paying for myself in addition to monthly payments and insurance.

i like the way mine look but for how much i drive it as my dd i'm looking into more conducive tires that still have some bite to em.
I just got goodyear duratracs for my comanche. I have yet to drive on them as my trucks not on the road yet, but ive heard only good things about them. There apparently good traction on the road and off, but more o an all terrain. Im going to dd mine as well, along with some wheeling so thats why i went with them. Check them out
