When after installing an hydraulic(!) winch the brake lights stop working and the CJ spends the next three weeks in the garage with all its wiring gutted because there's shorts everywhere. Yet all electrics except the brake lights seem to work. #puzzled.
Dagoomba, sounds like someone installed the "Brake" light in the spot of the "Amp" light. Does the "Brake" light come on when key on/engine off? Maybe switch them...
You can still have an ebrake with disc brakes. Depending on which style of disc brakes you have, the ebrake cable will either go to the calipers or it will have drum ebrakes. Here in Texas you have to have an ebrake that works to pass inspection.

Also when you drive around the trail hunting for the 2wd fords and dodges because they need a pull and your solid steel bumper is an easy hook up.
When the UPS guy knows that you got parts for your CJ when he looks at the company name on the box hes delivering to you lol. Turns out theres a guy in my neighborhood whos working on a CJ5 cause yesterday the UPS driver delivered parts to him as well.
When you "forget" somthing in it just to go get back in it again
