New to me Jeep LJ came with Audio System. Can I relocate some components of it?

As the title states, I recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler LJ, and the previous owner had a sound system of some sort (which, judging by the size and intricacy of the setup, must have been expensive). The dealer told me that I could sell the whole system for some good money, but since I love listening to music, I thought I would keep it for a while.

Sorry for the poor picture quality, as it is dark out and I have no power for any sort of good lighting.

The only thing that I can identify is the subwoofer (Pioneer, i think its 12 inches). I really have no idea what anything does.

The way that the system is oriented, I have very little trunk space. Between school, sports, and whatever errands I have to run, I want to be able to fit things in my trunk. Today, I had to load up 4 full gas cans for the generator at home (Hurricane Sandy), and with all of the sound equipment and speakers in the way (when the back seat is folded forward) it was a very hard task. Is there any way that I could consolidate or move any of the components so that I have more trunk space? I would also want them to be somewhat concealed so that no one would slash my soft top to take them.
