I figured since the other thread started out as talking about making a club, and what clubs are available, we should have a thread that's just dedicated to setting up trail runs.

The title says it all, and it'll be less cluttered.

So, the 9/18/10 Run to Potato Ridge was a success!

Next item on the schedule is Logandale on 10/23/10 according to McRoberts. Seems like we have a few interested parties! Who all is planning to attend?

If there is anything in the meantime, or someone local wants another rig to ride with them, just post up and see if anyone is available!

I posted them a while back, but no one seemed interested. I was a little hurt.
I didn't see them or I would have been all over it. That is bad ***!

Nope, it wasn't bad at all. I had originally thought I would be able to put it in the stock location as far as transmission location, but that was not possible. I had to move the trans about 2.5 inches forward which then necessitated driveshaft modifications. The only thing I don't like is the hoses going every which way, but that is what happens when stuff is on the opposite side between two different engine compartments. I suppose I can live with that.

Great install Dave. Looks pretty good. Were you able to retail all of the factory gauges?

I love this weather, yesterday I went up cruised through the mountains. No top, sandals, shorts, and a t-shirt equals some rock hard glass cutting nipples when you see lows of 42 deg.

Andy you should do angels peak on Monday. I will be on the quads, but the summit does offer some of the best views around.

I thought about doing Angels Peak but want the parents to be able to do some crawling. Last time I did Angels Peak it was just a dirt road.

You could do the steel braided hose sleeve kits. When I was in high school and doing quite a few engine swaps on muscle cars, that is what we would do. Then zip tie the hoses together. It looks pretty good and makes for a much cleaner engine compartment.

Yup, all factory gauges are intact. I wanted it to look as stock as possible. I try not to do hack jobs. Anymore.

I know right where that is. You are the man for driving your Jeep up there. I have not gotten mine to that point yet, but I'm close... I always end up taking too much crap. Not to mention my two dogs.
Let me drive your Jeep, I'll take it up there. Wherever there is...
