But tonite as I rode home with the top off I really loved my rust-bucket YJ! At damn near 300k she still runs strong and I won't give it up for the world. She just isn't so pretty right now so some cosmetic work is coming, but after a long time w/o it and just military vechiles it was twice as sweet.

Just figured y'all would get it more so than the rest of the site. ;)

Man JF seems so foreign to me these days. I have been so preoccupied with school, work, and the wedding I have just not had the time.

I'm still driving the jeep here and there when I can but no wheeling since August.

Antican- Fairy dust...Thors hammer...???
I've been told to piss off many ways...

I will.
Haha. He's just having a laugh! It's nothin personal for sure all of his posts are like that. Yes there was a problem. If it hasn't shown up with your kit then its likely you aren't affected by it and should just continue to use the product. I'm not at liberty to discuss the problem nor the process that caused the problem just the end result of which I'm affected completely. Even with a broken jeep and a rental car fee, I can't complain. And don't mind Blaine, he doesn't like to be told to recall any of his products any more than the rest of us would.

And if they aren't, they will be. We make our Jeeps new one part at a time.
Like the old saying for lumberjacks: A Good Axe lasts 5 handles and 2 heads!

a Good Jeep lasts.... hmmm... 2 frames, 2 bodys, 2 engines........

Where is the soul of your Jeep?

I have had my 95 YJ since 97, I was the second owner, and it was stock when I got it. I have added more parts to it then I can remenber and recently had to replace the windshild frame. This got me thinking about what part of the jeep makes it my jeep.

Meaning if everything can be bolted on or removed as easy as it can on a Jeep, what is the one thing that if you replace it, the Jeep is no long the Jeep you bought?

It's not the consumables oviously, brakes, wipers, fluid, ect. Is it the engine? What if you do an engine swap, what then? Is it the tub? What if you get in to an acident or just swap it out cause of rust?

What part of your Jeep is the most important part?
