This thread is to serve as an inspiration to others modifying their ZJ's. Pretty simple, just post what you did to your ZJ today!

Today I shamefully took my Jeep to get the oil changed because it was to hot to change it myself.

Just ordered some rockford fosgate prime R165 speakers, since pioneer speakers suck and one of them is blown. And I get mounting brackets.

Received some Mopar parts today, battery tray, liftgate flipper glass switch, liftgate bottom molding and 4 roof skid strips.
Along with some non Morpar items, 2 shifter knobs for Ox lockers.

Also ordered some new goodies.
Warn 87310 9.5xp-s Winch  and a Griffin 5-794ld-bax radiator.

Been having problems getting the Ron Davis radiator to fit, they will make me a new one that will fit but that could take 3 or 4 weeks.
Should have the Griffin radiator here in a few days.

Ended up going with Jungle Love.... I wanted to do the ODG, but I decided to stay as close as possible to the factory color.
I sense the need for pics. Been thinking of doing the same thing for mine up through the pannels for some protection, cost?

I was gonna build a YJ and use Jungle Love instead of carpet, because it's the same green as Sahara Edition carpet. Give us pics when you get the stuff.

Decided im gonna take the rear bumper cover off. And mount some lights on it out of the way of the tailgate and taillights. Going to wire a relay to turn on when reverse lights come in. But would also like to wire them to a switch for rear lights for setting up camp or something at night.how would I wire it with two switches like that on one relay?

Assuming your going to use a standard automotive 5 pin relay, pin 85 connects to both the switch and the backup lights. Pin 86 goes to ground. Pin 30 goes to a constant 12 volt source. Pin 87 (the normally open contact) goes to the lights. Pin 87a isn't used. The switch will also need a constant 12 volts. When you flip the switch or put the vehicle in reverse, the coil will energize and the normally open contact will close. I don't think it would hurt anything, but when you flip the switch, the reverse lights will probably turn on too. Try to no have the switch flipped while you're in reverse. I assume no responsibility for any damage done to you or your vehicle if you follow my guidelines. I would suggest using 2 relays rather than one.

Why two? One for switch one to tap into reverse lights?

Read thru THIS THREAD about adding lights to the license plate bezel. Same exact wiring procedure as I outlined in one of my posts toward the end of the thread. It also talks about adding diodes to the circut to control backfeed between the two switches.

Yes. That would prevent the reverse lights from coming on when you flip the switch and you wouldn't have to worry about having the switch on when in reverse. Again, I assume no responsibility.
Since you keep saying you assume no responsibility. What could happen? Iv got two relays here in my desk at home. I think they are 4 pin. I'll have to look.

4 pin will work as long as they're normally open. I say I assume no responsibility as a disclaimer. If you manage to wire something incorrectly and catch your vehicle on fire or short something and hurt yourself, I'm not responsible. Even though I told you how to wire it, and I have an EET degree, and work at a facility that services relays, I may have made a mistake or overlooked something simple. That's why I assume no responsibility. Make sure you fuse both for safety. That's something I overlooked.
