Aftermarket cassette decks that fit in a '91 XJ Cherokee?

When I bought my '91 cherokee the tape deck didn't work (just spat the tape back out without taking it and locking it in). AM/FM works perfect, but I've got enough tapes to fill a bathtub sitting in my drawer gathering dust. I'm trying local salvage yards to find a stock radio since I'm certainly not spending 80-90 bucks on an untested one on ebay (and that's when I can find a stock radio from before '96) but it looks like my best bet is buying an aftermarket deck. I've been on sites like crutchfield and they say the only one that fits my jeep is a pioneer KEH-P2030: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130KEHP203/Pioneer-KEH-P2030.html?search=keh-p2030&skipvs=T. Good value for the price but not too into it cause it only has buttons and no knobs. It's also got controls for XM radio and for a cd changer that I'll never use. Its way too space-age and streamlined. It'd ruin the utilitarian, thirld-world dictator vibe that my dash puts out. You guys know any other tape decks that'll fit? Even older ones from the 80's-90's. Preferably inexpensive with volume and tuning knobs.

Also, should I find a stock radio, will I have to take it to a dealership to get it unlocked or is it before those kind of security measures were in place? Hoping I can just plug-and-play.

 Is that a joke, or is it time for me to finally give up on humanity?

Anyways, wound up ordering a stock deck from a salvage yard on ebay for $65 including shipping. With 90-day warranty. It's the original AM/FM stock Cassette deck and doesn't have any auxilary whatsoever but that's fine since the only portable player I got is my walkman (and plugging that in would be pretty redundant haha). Still not sure if I'm going to have to deal with some kind of radio security code when I install it though.

I dont think they could lock them back then. Just look around. Heck, i might have one at the house still, its yours for the cost of shipping. Not sure if it works, but its almost free.

I have an aftermarket cassette/cd player in my 98 (was previously in my 95). It's made by Sanyo.

I've had it for 7-8 years now. And yes, I get crap about having a cassette player and not having an mp3/iphone connection. I'm actually really bummed because the cd player is dying on it and I'm worried that I won't be able to find another one that has both the cassette and cd options. :)
