Having the weirdest starter issues. Can anyone help. New batt new cables solenoid. But cranks over very slow like the batt is dead also the starter starter and positive batt wire get real hot. So figured it was resistance in the starter replaced it same deal. Does anyone know what could cause this.
do you have a dedicated ground from starter to battery?
Electricity flows in a circle, poor ground connection is as debilitating as a poor hot connection.

what about shims? I assume you can check the pattern with a little grease, like you would do to a differential?
and have you tried jumping it at the solenoid? May help narrow down where your problem is.
where'd you get the parts? I've gotten lots of bad parts from autozone. and some from kragen. But not many from napa. I've gotten a bunch of bad batteries from walmart.
only other idea i've got is timing. Maybe chain jumped a tooth and there's too much resistance in the engine?
Probably not, but just throwing ideas out
any difference in neutral/park

uh oh
could be a little from all the cranking and not running, but a lot is definetly uh-oh
manual fuel pump leaking into crankcase?
I was looking at a ford forum last night. I'm so glad I drive jeeps. ford guys are ******bags. EVERYBODY was complaing about grammar and punctuation and capitalization. Telling the OP that they wouldn't help him unless he rewrote everything.

Na the carb that's on it is junk. It's pouring fuel in. Not gonna say the pumps not leaking but it's more in the carb. Although it did start up last night so I'm making progress
