This thread is to serve as an inspiration to others modifying their ZJ's. Pretty simple, just post what you did to your ZJ today!

Today I shamefully took my Jeep to get the oil changed because it was to hot to change it myself.

Taurus fans work great - some wonderful write-ups on it. In fact, I think there might even be something in the FAQ about it.

Mine has been cooling really well for 6 years now. Same fan...I suspect the spare I've had in the roof basket for many moons is shot due to being rained on for all that time

I replaced my radiator, coolant temp
Sensor and serpentine belt. It's running nice and cool once again. Hopefully I can now get the infamous "bad coolant sensor" alarm to stay off.
The infamous "bad coolant sensor" is caused by loose contacts in the VIC, not by a bad component. If it's caused by a bad component, it's a real "bad coolant sensor" warning, not of the infamous type.

Had about the worst experience one could have with my o2 sensor. First, getting the bad one out was disasterous. I didn't have a torch cause my dad was at work, so I muscled it off. Well, I guess my brand new y-pipe and o2 sensor had such a good time together, they didn't want to get separated. After all was said and done, there were no threads left in the bung for the sensor, almost. There were a few threads at the bottom of it, so I ended up cutting the top of the bung off with a sawzall and a ****ty blade to get to the threads at the bottom. I kept telling myself there IS some way this will get completely fubar'd. But to my suprise, it ****ing worked. Then I had to go through the pain in the *** process of trying to plug the damn thing in. So that was my fun for today.

The only reason it has worked flawlessly for 6 years is because it knows you have a spare up there. As soon as you take it out it kaboom!

IRO critical path front. Going to order the Clayton triangulated rear LAs, then 7in springs
Nice. I'm getting my IRO cpla front at the end of the month. I'm still tied between the 5.5" or the 7". I'm working on an HP44 for the front but I think that will be a while. Ill probably just get the 7" and wheel it on 35's till it breaks then start working on the axles. I still have to keep up with the other members in the local Jeep club.
