1985 CJ7 California model with AC, Clock, and Auto Trans. I think the orange plug is the clock (there are two clock plugs). AC is not plugged in. I just realized PO has a 20amp fuse in a 10amp slot:facepalm:
So mine is correct with only one flasher? My signals work but I have not checked hazards. I noticed a flasher in the wire harness near the fuse block. Have not got to the electrical on my jeep yet. Working on mechanical stuff now and battery is disconnected.

i have power to the fuse box turn sig. fuse,i have power,to the inline flasher.NO POWER,to left upper flasher plug,on fuse box,NO POWER,to plug going to rear harness.NO POWER,coming out of plug that goes into steering column, and NO POWER ,to light bulbs going to speedo socket.i also have power to every thing going to front lights, and i have tail lights when light switch is pulled on.please note, that the front end of jeep, fenders, grill headlights are not on jeep yet.also the red/blk bulb on speedo, stays on even when switch is off.i noticed the light switch gets hot,by the white disc on bottom of switch, and a slight trace of smoke rises.the upper part of switch stays cool, and lights continue to work.
Both of my headlights were out as well. My side markers and blinkers were working. My particular issue was the floor mounted dimmer (high beam switch). I replaced it for $10 and I'm back and running. Be sure to always use dialectric grease when reassebling electrical connections.
