Thanks for the link. The desert is a little too pale and the spice is a little do dark for what I was thinking. Might just go with the road rash/black combo
Had to remove the undercoating then sand the original paint and prime. Paint remover worked the best to get the undecoating soft enough to scrape off with a paint sprayer.
black monsta in my interior 00 tj. sprayed with economy shutz (undercoating) gun between 50 and 110 psi and added 4oz of mek per directions to reduce it. sprays like a dream, i highly recommend spray if you have the time and patience to tape off. i used plastic painters drop sheets (6- 9ftx12ft sheets for $13 at lowes) and a roll of frog painters tape to mask off. exterior will be sprayed in 2-3 weeks hopefully!
Color is Lady in Red, I used between 3/4 and one gallon, rolled on. I purchased extra rollers but ended up only using two normal, one skinny, and the square block (which was priceless!)
I definitely made some mistakes (some spots are a little thin, I left some roller in a couple places, I put the seat in before it was finished curing and got a scratch in it on the wheel well, etc.), but overall I think it looks pretty good!
Zombie Sunset on Surfblue Pearlcoat JKU Islander.
I have other pics of it without seats, floormats, etc., but I haven't uploaded those yet.
