I don't like the color of the Monstaliner I used. Can I get a different color and simply go over it?

black monsta in my interior 00 tj. sprayed with economy shutz (undercoating) gun between 50 and 110 psi and added 4oz of mek per directions to reduce it. sprays like a dream, i highly recommend spray if you have the time and patience to tape off. i used plastic painters drop sheets (6- 9ftx12ft sheets for $13 at lowes) and a roll of frog painters tape to mask off. exterior will be sprayed in 2-3 weeks hopefully!

How difficult is it to do the exterior of a TJ?

I rolled the tub in black almost two years ago still holding up. Had a few spots that I went thin on and have since chipped :(

I wanna spray the exterior. Just have no experience with spray and want to make sure and do it right. ( window frame in and out, door jams. )

What's everyone's experience with exterior jobs?

Please post your question here and you will have many more people who have done exteriors to share their experience. This thread is only for pics :rtft:

Whoo! It's finished!

I definitely made some mistakes (some spots are a little thin, I left some roller in a couple places, I put the seat in before it was finished curing and got a scratch in it on the wheel well, etc.), but overall I think it looks pretty good!

I have other pics of it without seats, floormats, etc., but I haven't uploaded those yet.
