All worth it when it looks that nice though, right?Dadamsnv said:Painted my T18 with duplicitous cast iron engine paint with ceramic.
I also stabbed all my external drive train (tcase, tranny, bellhousing etc) bolts into a cardboard box to get cleaned and painted. Also cleaned my clutch fork bellhousing shields, and front crossmember for paint.
I'm so freaking sick of cleaning parts for paint
Looks good. I'm a fan of the tread plate step at the back. Stops folks standing on your flares to get in and out. Although In summer it's quite often friends in bikinis so I turn ONE blind eye.papa355 said:worked on the rear bumper some
They are small and sometimes the mess in your shed is, ahem, big from what we've seen Dave. Good luck.243 said:Wasted hours of my day looking for the lock cylinders I removed from the doors in April, 2011.
I have new cylinders but the z-brackets are still attached to the old cylinders.
LOL The dog is the baby, and I would be dead if I did that! :laugh:Put the dog in the back yard or in a kennel or something.
My dog loves the kennel she hears the word kennel and she gets so excited. And my other dog hates the kennel when she hears kennel she goes to bed and lays there she wouldn't do anything.Scooter402 said:LOL The dog is the baby, and I would be dead if I did that!
I did get one radius arm done and installed, the other side has the coilover and radius arm mounts on the axle...now I just need to build the frame mount and a panhard and I'm done with the front. I'll post up pics tomorrow hopefully.
Of course, but it's grueling. It's gonna be bomb when it's done, I'll be glad I did all the extra work.gazzo said:All worth it when it looks that nice though, right?
How did you get the AMC 304 to look so nice? My guess is a few coats of silver, let that cure, then mask the AMC 304 off and paint it red?? What did you use to mask the numbers and letters off? My guess here is motorcycle number plate decals.Took my oil pan and valve covers off and changed out my rear main seal as well as all of my gaskets. Coated the valve cover and oil pan with some paint!
