Hey everyone I just traded in my '10 fx4 that i bought brand new for this '07 jk Sahara with only 10,500 miles! It has a few things already done to it. Here is a pic of my old truck and the new jeep. My mind is going crazy with all the ideas i have.
My gf's parents just bought a place down in Murrells near Waccamaw hospital. I will be down there this weekend and hopefully quite a bit. We live in Raleigh, and her parents live in NH, so someone has to go down every so often to check on there place and keep an eye on things....I guess I can be the one to take the burden of that.
Will do. They bought a condo in that gated golf community thats behind the hospital. Im not sure what road it is, but its the one that you turn right at the stoplight(off 17 I think) where they are working on the hospital. Ive only been to it once.
Is the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet good? I've heard about it but have yet to try it out. I think I might take my girlfriend to it for dinner Saturday night if we have time.
Has anyone ate at Graham's Landing? My girlfriend and I have to go down late Sunday thru Tuesday and I was thinking about giving that place a try. They have fried pickles so that won me over, just am not sure how the rest of the menu is.
Marsh Walk is a great time but expensive obviously. If you like Thai food though check out the Blue Elephant. It is a hole in the wall right down the street from the Marsh Walk. Past Harrelsons, before River City. Amazing food though.
You expect every thing on the Marsh Walk to be expensive. I plan on trying multiple restaurants this summer as I foresee myself spending a lot of time there.
Is the pollen falling down In Murrells Inlet yet? Me and the girlfriend are going to her parents place in a week and I want to know if I will be able to take the top off the Jeep and enjoy it. Im highly allergic to pollen and I don't think turning my interior lime green will help my allergies.
Thats def aint what I want to hear. Ill be there Tuesday-Friday. Can't wait to eat some seafood, go to Peaches Corner and hit up Bass Pro. I looked at the forecast and its not looking like its gonna be really warm though.
Well I was down in Murrells for 4 days last week and the pollen whipped my tail. It was also cold so I didnt get to enjoy the beaches any. I was able to go to Dead Dog's for some great food and got my Peache's Corner fix. I will be back down there again on April 11th to 14th. Hopefully it will be in the 70's or even 80's by then. The mid 50's were no fun.
Not that I'm aware of. A few of us go to Uwharrie but that's a good 3 hour drive. Btw we have a jeep meet every other Friday at berky's next to hooters on 37th and kings hwy. We just had one this past Friday so next Friday we will be there again. Your more than welcome.
Sounds good, once I get settled in I'll have to meet up. Any were to wheel locally? Or does everyone drive to ORV park? I was hoping there would be some spots only the locals new. When you guys go do you camp? Any showers? I've heard good things about gultches ( however it is spelled) what park is closest?
If pic uploaded , this is a sot of my zj at raush creek ORV here in pa

Uwharrie is about 3 hours 50 minutes from myrtle beach, uwharrie is only 3 hours. Uwharrie is cheaper and has more trails than gulches.
