EDIT:

The TJ has been stretched for about a year. It work wonderfully.
On 4/14/11 I picked up a set of Dana 60s. King Pin SnowFigher front from a 79 250. Rear is also out of a 79. Post 107 Starts the 60s build.

I am currently stretching the wheelbase of my TJ.

My TJ has progressed a lot over the years since I purchased it.
From Stock Daily Driver to modified daily driver to more modified daily driver to even more modified Trail Rig. I want to keep the jeep streetable, but have one that performs on the trail as well.

The day I bought it. Strait panels and no scratches.

First dirt.

Very cool! I took the wife to Punta Cana for our honeymoon as well. Did you take the catermaran to the priivate island?

We didn't take the sailing cat but took a power cat basically over sized pontoon boat. It was a dive boat so tanks were strapped to sides with walkway around it.
We dove to around 125' or so saw lobsters puffer fish sea urchins and a lot of other cool fish. Other than that we sat on the beach or by the pool having drinks all day.
I believe it was Catalina island we went to. We stayed at the Excellence. I would recommend it.

I am going to run into issues with the tires rubbing the grill so not sure yet how to fix that. Bumpstop it, narrow grill, or find a narrower grill off of another jeep

I wish My CJ2a wasn't an hour and a half away in my uncle's barn for possible mock up. I know of where a few others are that I could possible buy. The guy that I sold my 48 to has a few of them.

I'm not sure on the 2a measurements but I asked a buddy of mine to take a measurement.

I also have a few CJ7/8 grills but they are up at my new house in Columbus, IN so I would have to wait for mockup.

I wanted to do a CJ2a grille myself. I looked at the ones from Aqualu, and was going to build on it a little to finish it off. But I've got enough on my plate. Good luck bud.

Well did some work on the jeeps chariot this afternoon. Nothing too special but I wanted to put a water proofer on it and went ahead and went with a redwood stain as well. Not completely even but I figure when it fades it will all be even. Also I didn't get between or under the boards, just top or wherever it ran to.

Tomorrow picking up a piece of 36"x19"x.25 steel for my gas tank skid plate.

The time bandit guys seemed pretty cool. One of them actually lives in southern Indiana. I don't know his name but it's the clean cut one.

Do they run cummins in the boat? Excuse my ignorance but I have no idea, and I was assuming that's what work is seeing you have the cummins shirt on and the motor back round lol.

They currently have a pair of Cummins K19s from 1991

Getting New replacements more efficient and more power

Yes I work for cummins. I'm in the high horsepower group. 19L to 95L 500 hp to 4000+hp

1" up is where it will end up

Oh and I have 2 friends convinced that I'm using cable motor mounts. Supposedly they will hold the motor in tension. I couldn't look At them when I was talking about "cable motor mounts". Told them they were being used all over pirate on high horsepower engines in buggies.
