...Does your WJ run on the broken dreams of children or something... I don't see a gas tank?
nope made a new gas tank skid and now it is flat with the frame rails. Tank moved up into the cargo area now.. in case you are wondering - yes I am making a new floor in it as well. It is tuning into more of a trail/DD as it progresses

It will? I assumed since the whole thing would lower that it would make the front driveshaft angle less abrupt?

So basically only thing I can do is buy a double cardan front DS?
it lowers the tcase, but doesn't lower the engine. So by the physics of leverage, the front's output angle in relation to the front diff ends up being steeper.

Spent 2 hours washing her and cleaning the mud out of the skid plates. Here's the final result...
P.S. Someone on here recommended using Turtle Wax Ice so I went out and bought some. Man that stuff is good, let see how it holds up in the rain!

Just got the last part of my lift from Kolak. Shocks came in today. I went ahead and ordered shock boots in royal blue to match the steering stabilizer. Should be here this week. Will be doing install in two weeks pics to come. Possibly a write up also.

Custom front hitch/brush guard

So today my brother and I took on the project of modifying my brush guard to have a 2 inch hitch receiver. Now I am able to have a recovery point, along with a winch or what ever else I would wanna plug in there. The brush guard mounts were 1/4" steel, so we backed that up with some 1/4" square tubing and I had my brother weld it all up. I am really happy with the end product. Much cheaper than a Warn hitch, and should still do me just as well.

Any chance of a whole write up on this? For those of us with brush guards, the lack of from recovery points is a huge deal!
