Introducing MONSTALINER™ UV Permanent DIY Roll On Bed Liner

Hi All,

We are a new advertiser on jeepforum.com and I just want to introduce myself, our company and a very interesting new product.

My name is Eric and I have 25+ years experience in coatings manufacturing.
Our company Magnet Paints, is focused on industrial maintenance and commercial fleet refinish coatings,
epoxy and urethane concrete floor coatings and automotive restoration paints.

We are also the manufacturers of Chassis Saver™ Rust Preventive Truck & Auto Underbody Coating.
Chassis Saver is a high performance alternate to POR-15 at 45% lower cost.

For the past 5 years, our lab has been developing and fine tuning a roll on bed liner product.
The product has evolved through 3 generations of testing, development and field trials and has just been
commercialized and is available for sale.

I have personally been involved with installations on more than 20 vehicles in the last 4 years in which
my feedback and experience alone was the determining factor that the product was complete and ready for release.

Monstaliner started as a pet project. One of our employees had used a widely popular DIY bed liner on his
personal truck and was not so pleased with the outcome. He came into work one day with a mission and
for almost a year, he kept badgering the chemists in our lab to develop a better product.

One day after getting tired of listening to this guy rant, we sat down and mapped out what a
new generation do-it-yourself bed liner would have to offer to be successful. A first, we just toyed with the
project but we knew that a much better product was possible compared to those already on the market.

So here we are, very proud to present:

MONSTALINER™ High Performance DIY Roll On Bed Liner

I don't want to write a book here so I will post the web site link for all who are curious to check this out on their own time.

As an introduction special and for the rest of this month at least,
we are offering free shipping on anything sold on the web site.

Just use Promo Code "FSBL-1" when ordering either online or by phone.

Everyone, anyone... please feel free to ask any questions. I am always available to help.

Best Regards
magnetman

work with you to make something happen.

NEW COLORS

Wed or Thurs eve I'll post pics of some new colors. Original plan was to release 10 new items at once.
This is not going to happen as we are too busy to get it all done together.
Online ordering for these items will go into gear over the weekend some time

What's definitely coming first:

Charcoal Gray
Lighter Limey Green (my favorite)
Light Sky/Baby Blue
Copper looking something or other brown thingamajig

Additional colors discussed may be included this week if not they will preview next week.

There is a lot of work to do to set these things up so PLEASE do not PM me asking questions pertaining to availability.
It will all get done as fast as we can and the more pressure I am under the more trips to tequila bottle I will make and the slower it all moves forward.

Making new colors is not as simple as whipping something up and if it looks good just sell it.
We need to be able to reproduce what we make accurately so each color gets matched 3 times and the formulas get documented.
No one wants to coat something and then need more in 6 months or a year and the color don't match.

That said, I am not so much excited about releasing new colors as much as I will be excited naming them!

New guy here... I don't own a jeep but do own a M101A2 3/4 ton military trailer. I came across this thread while researching DIY bed liners for my trailer. Since this thread is current, I have a question for Magnetman.

My Trailer is freshly painted with Military CARC paint. Would I have to prep the bed of the trailer differently because of this paint or can I roll Monstaliner right over the top of the CARC paint? Not sure how much you know about Military CARC but it is pretty coarse to begin with and tough as nails. No clear coat and has a rough feel and appearance.. If your product can be used over the CARC paint with little or no prep, you may want to try and Market over on www.steelsoldiers.com as the guys over there are always looking for a tough bed liner type coating to do the inside of the military vehicles (all of which are painted with CARC).

Sorry I am a bit off topic jeep guys/gals... Hope everyone is ok with this.

Thanks
Jeff

CARC is nothing that special. They are usually 2 component urethanes not unlike automotive paint but made as flat, non-reflective finishes.

They are very engineered because most flat finishes would be porous and these were developed out of the paranoia that our troups could get into a situation where mustard gas or other bio weapons could cling to vehicle surfaces and be difficult to wash off

Probably just need to scuff any CARC and it could be topcoated, BUT I could be wrong because I have never formulated them

PS: Welcome to JeepForum!

PSS: Nothing is off topic here!

A few more progress pics. Still don't have it all back together yet, and can't pull it out of the garage until I order up a new radiator and get it back up and running.
Looks so good! I can't wait to do mine! May is coming soon...

I can sell decent respirators for less than 1/2 that price

We don't stock them now, should we get them?
Yes! I am rolling with the garage doors wide open so was planning on doing without, but would save the brain cells if I found one reasonably priced.

Thanks, and I used a respirator like this one..... http://www.1800cheaptools.com/3m-du...95-large-mmm7179.html?AdID=7620cm00cm0MMM7179

The local hardware store had it for about $57, not sure the exact model I got but it's a 3M and says something like "Professional Painter" on the package. I shot mine in the garage with the door closed, one window open with a fan in it. I certainly couldn't have done that without the respirator.
