Looks like thats a good date for a lot of people to hit the trails at the badlands.. Figured I'd make a thread to get a head count going. Theres about 8 of us planning on making the trip. Gonna be at the lower lot around 9:30am Indiana time. I personally wont be camping out since it will still be cold.. so its just a one day trip for me.

Well I do not think I am going to make it. My jeep is acting up and I wont be able to mess with it at all until Saturday. If I get it all figured out I will for sure be there on Sunday around noon with some buddies that are working at the badlands until noon time. Anybody still gonna b around Sunday?

at this point.. looks like we have 26 confirmed...and 6 maybes. This doesnt include people who said they were coming and had friends in rigs coming with them. If we have half of the people who said they were coming it will be a good day. Summers Campground still hasnt replied to any of my emails or voicemails so we are planning on camping at the Attica Family Campground (the Badlands campground). Going to try to get there early and set up camp and be at the lower lot around 10-1030am Indiana time. If people are interested in convoying from anywhere continue to post your info of how you want to be contacted. As far as wheeling sunday goes.. its been discussed and some people sound like they are going to and some not.. so you shouldnt have trouble finding anyone to wheel with. Looking forward to seeing familiar faces out again.. and the new ones!

Is it going to be an issue running at's there. I have a set of mud terrains but they are pretty low on tread maybe 1/4 inch in center more towards outer lugs but right now i have a set of all terrains on the jeep that have a fair amount of more tread than my mud terrains. I just don't want to spend the whole day getting yanked out of places. lol. All terrains are 32s and my mud terrains are 31s

It shouldn't be that big of a deal. A lot of guys run ATs there. It's not really a mud bog everywhere, there are some soupy places but there is usually a way around the deeper holes. I'd stick with the 32's and just air down. They have air there also to bring them back up.

sure! we will be camping out so as soon as we get there we are going to set up.. gonna try to meet in the lower lot around 9:30 Indiana time. Planning on running cb channel 24. I drive a green JK with the license plate Nickit1. We have a huge group supposedly going.. so it should be a good time.

Hi i've got a bunch of pics i'd like to post from this trip. where should i put them?
I would create a photobucker account and post them there. Facebook reduces the quality a bunch and is a pain to upload to. I just put mine there. This is just from my digital camera. I will do my GoPro pics and videos tomorrow.

Yeah.. it turned out to be an absolutely awesome day to wheel.. and sunday was good too. We got a really late start... sats we had like 14 jeeps in our group and about 6 of them it was their first time out wheeling.. so we helped them all air down.. disconnect their sway bar.. etc. May 19th is National Jeep Go Topless day. The guys I wheel with.. Tom (Dirtman) which some of you may know.. and Brad (Zeep) put it together.. they get the Go Topless day T shirts.. we basically wheel all day.. then have a big after party in Champaign, Il after... then some of us will wheel the next day as well. I will be sure to post a reminder about it.

I hope this link works if not do a search in Facebook for "JJUSA-Badlands" Jeep Jamboree has a dedicated FB page for each Jamboree. You can meet with other people that are going and have a chance to talk with some of the organizers fro JJ.

Looking forward to meeting you
