This thread is to serve as an inspiration to others modifying their ZJ's. Pretty simple, just post what you did to your ZJ today!

Today I shamefully took my Jeep to get the oil changed because it was to hot to change it myself.

My ZJ and my buddy's newly lifted 6.5in IRO long arm XJ. He might be slightly higher, but mines faster. Lol. I can't wait to do a long arm IRO setup. It's so sweet

Replaced my idler pulley and belt. No more squeal :D Also had to replace my turn signal bulb in the passenger tail light.
You might want to make sure you have enough blinker fluid, because if you dont the bulb will keep going out.

Got tired of all the clunks and rattles so I crawled under it, over it, in it and out of it......
ended up replacing the front sway bar end links and bushings, for some reason the PO had the wrong diameter bolts in the rear shocks so they clunked over every bump and I went to walmart and purchased 1 70' roll of self-adhesive weather striping for $2.##, took off the plastic panel for the tailgate and put the weather striping between the plastic and the metal to stop the annoying rattle that was every growing louder

We have a temporary tag here, but only if you purchase from a dealer. I bought from a private seller.
Here any registration card can be filled out on the back, and stuck to your back window.

Put on the Dynomax muffler yesterday, got the tailpipe today and put it on, at first did not realize the muffler was 2 1/4 ID, the tailpipe was 2 inch OD.
Called up the local muffler man, they said they would stretch it out for five bucks. Whent down there, 3 mi, they fixed it up and said, have a nice day. No charge.
Cut off the downturn on the tailpipe, got a piece of old but good pipe, drilled a hole in the side, taped It out 1/4 20 thread, put in a short bolt. Sanded her off squirted on some metallic silver, and there she be, sounds good out the back, and no droning inside the Jeep.

I put a b&m handle on my factory ta shifter. Not a good plan. You have to make it just right to keep the detent unlocked, and then your detent is unlocked lol. Meaning you bump it while cruising at 60 and it could fall into park. Never installed that shifter. Don't do it.
I was thinking, attaching it where to shift all I have to do is push down.

Be really hard. The detent is a rod that moves up and down inside the shifter shaft.

How had is it to do a 4.0 to 5.2 swap?
Depends on your mechanical skill level. Would highly recommend finding a totaled donor vehicle to take everything from.

The starter just cranks the engine over, doesn't it? There's no problem there. Now that I've ruled out the distributor, I think it's something to do with the fuel delivery - fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. Need to buy a fuel pressure tester!
Sounds like the most likely candidate to me, too. Mine started to take 2-3 seconds after I fitted the Neon injector upgrade. It runs well so 'm not too bothered.

This morning it started much faster than usual - only cranked for around a second before firing. I'll wait and see if this is a permanent thing or just a fluke. If it's permanent then maybe new plugs would help even more; I've got a set waiting to go in, but my wife managed to throw my gap tool in the trash by mistake along with the packaging it was shipped in
