^^^ correct! right now i'm running kc long beams on thw windshield and my stock fogs on the bumper. supplies a nice amount of light everywhere that i need it.

how do you like the lighforces? i saw a booth on them and how you can put a baseball bat to them and they dont break

i have the lense filters for a pencil beam of light so i think the glare will not be to bad.

i have not got to use them yet,im deployed right now but i will be mounting them in the next 2 months.i will post pics when they are mounted but since i didnt buy the wiring harness for them i will be putting this set on the front bumper and get another set for the windshield.

Lightforce. Had them for seven years now and love them. They are the 190's and I have no problems with glare .

Lightforce Striker 170's are great lights, I sold tons of them when I worked at 4wheelparts. A nice feature other than the different filters for the lenses was you can twist the housing an change it from a Spot beam to a fog beam !
I've run lots of differnt lights in the past there are 2 that have my interest to run on the XJ Rigid Dually LED's and Lightforce striker 170's

My jeep is not set up for mud, sand, rocks. I built it for what I wanted to use it for. I do alot of night riding in mountains. Two of those lights go infra red with special lense covers. Have an infra red camcorder on dash that feeds into a in-dash monitor so I can travel with no lights on and view where I am going on the monitor. Can never have enough light just like you can never have enough jeep.

I have a Panasonic HDC-HS250 camcorder that cost me around a $1000. My in-dash Pioneer AVIC-N1 has a 7 inch monitor and that cost me $2500 because I have a television unit with IPOD connections. The television unit is housed under my front passenger seat. The GPS unit is under the driver's seat. All are connected with bus cables. The lights cost me about $2000. $600 a set plus the cost of filters. I have red, blue, yellow, amber, clear, and infra-red at about $50 a set. My jeep runs on a four battery system with a 185 amp alternator made by Wrangler Electronics out of Portland, Oregon. My Isolators are oil based for heat resistance. I have a Cobra 200 ham/cb radio that has a 132 watt bi-linear built in. A 1k inverter runs my Vaio laptop and coffee pot. I, also, run two Engel fridges off the set up when I am gone for extended periods.
