My back yard is pretty wet, but I haven't been out otherwise. If you guys decide to go to the mud, give me a call. 559-583-8360 It's my home number, I don't have a cell. I have a ton of work to do in my garage today, but I'll bring the phone out there with me. -Josh

Yeah, by the marina. I probably won't be hitting mud anymore.... (I say this now...) I just fabbed a new exhaust and I had at least ten pounds of mud and grass in my skid. After cleaning the underside of the Jeep, I'm not sure I want to go through that again. On a lighter note, the Flowmaster sounds great and fits nice and tight in the high clearance belly skid.

Well, after cleaning the mud off of my Jeep, I decided to take the hard top off and start fabbing mounts for the soft top. Don't let gen-right fool you, it's a pain to get ANY top to fit with their full cage. Had to chop up a perfect soft top frame to *hopefully* make it all work and fold decent.

Also ordered a new Warn winch which should be here on the 6th, then it's time to make a new bumper. Busy busy!

Hey guys, I need help, just started seeing a girl who I'm really into and she has a 2.5y/o son. I want to take both of them to do something on thursday or Friday, thinking about the Monterey bay aquarium or going to the snow since the little one has never been to either. What do you guys think? And where would be a good place to take them in the mountains? I want someplace that isn't too far and someplace that is in a town where we can eat and get out of the cold if need be. And no suggestions on good places to wheel that's not what this is about, I'll probably leave the jeep at home and take the F-350 since I don't want to drive that far with her son in the jeep with the exhaust leak and poor heating.

NO SNOW??!! :2thumbsup::cheers:

If I knew that I would have gone last weekend! Too bad I have to work this weekend, or I'd go for sure.

Just milled out a fairlead today, it's 3/4" 7075-T6 aluminum. Way overkill, but free! Winch should be here in the next few days then I can get started fabbing a bumper. Probably going to make it out of aluminum as well. I'm thinking 3/4" for the top/winch plate, and 1/4" for the front and sides. Gotta figure out a way to integrate recovery points, steering box skid and a receiver. That damn tubular crossmember is right in the way....

No, I wish I did! I have just about everything else you could ever need though. What I don't have at home I use at work, (mill, lathe etc) but no way to even bend tube there either.... unless it's hydraulic tubing. Even then calling a favor to the hyd guys is next to impossible.
