My family and I did our first Jamboree last year and I talked her into adding another one for 2012. We'll be in Llano, Texas and Palo Duro Canyon (Amarillo area) this spring in our White 86 CJ-7.
Today's the first day you can register for 2012 events and they claim several fill up quickly. Just a friendly reminder.
I hope to meet some of you guys at one of these Jamborees. We did the one in Llano last year and it nearly ate my lunch! I came back with a laundry list of modifications to do and both me and my CJ should be a little more prepared for the hard core rock crawling in Llano in 2012.
Well I live in Rhode Island little to far for use.I have been looking to do a Jeep thing with the family this uncoming year .The problem is there are not alot of Jeep stuff here.We will have to go along way to have some Jeep fun.
Hey, Native...how's about you posting this in the Wheeling Neighborhood under "Texas" also.
I for one am already making plans for Llano.
Thanks, I didn't know about this.
Never heard of the wheeling neighborhood, but feel free to post it up there.
Are you taking you 5 to Llano? There were 3 7's in our group of 30 and a few other 7's in the other groups but I don't hink I saw any 5's out there. The more CJ's the better!
I've got a buddy with a TJ joining me in Palo Duro. I'm looking forward to doing that one for the first time.
Great, this means I have to figure out how much lift I have on my Jeep, are you kidding me! So anyone know what the stock tire size was for a Scrambler and the stock frame height?
