Here are a couple pics from my first time out in my new to me jeep!! always wanted one and found a good deal.

2003 sport w/37k miles. one owner. dana 44. 4 inch lift w/33s.

to do list: freaking slip yoke eliminator :(
gears/lockers
front bumper/winch

i have a 2002 trans am and its a money pit. so what did i do, invested in another one!! best decision EVERRRR!! haha

bad thing: the tires are over 5 years old and they showed while i was climbing. couldnt grab ne thing!! i have 4 brand new bfg mt km2s sitting at discount tire that will be on the jeep by 6pm :)

This looked way steeper in person. the picture kinda makes me seem like a ***** lol. my buddies jk with a 2 inch lift couldnt make it up where he is sitting. he got hung up every time. but me, i made it!!! so freaking happy!!

first awesome(to me) flex!!

just a couple more to show the rear tires. i was pretty ecstatic about these shots lol

i didnt wanna try crawling up this with my ****ty tires. just didnt seme like a good idea. ill get it next time.

Damn nice. I will say be careful cuz a couple of my buddies got tickets for "driving off te pavement" as they exited. Also I'd love to go but have a ****ed up front axle :( glad others are enjoying it tho!!

Last week after it rained. Jeeps at my axle guy getting 456 gears. Should be done by next weekend. If it is I'll go to the 121 spot with ya. You won't get stuck as there is no mud. You will get some scratches tho. Ill post up later this week if mine gets done. Also what's the specs on ur xj??(idk all the js)
My specs are in the original post.

yes while it is quite fun wheeling out there... be warned!! my friends and i have been chased off that land many times by a farmer in a big black like f250 i believe. now this was back in '06 when we use to go out there quite often. He lives up on the frisco part near where lebanon cuts through the land. we use to turn off of 4th army to enter the land and exit right there at squires to evade him. So watch out. if you see a big black f250 he will call the cops and they will write tickets! stay near the colony and the lake to try to steer clear of him Good Luck! but like i said this was 4-5 years ago when he would chase us around pretty regularly. things might have changed

Hey man thanks for the update. Some of my buddies have been asked to leave by another man but it wasnt a big black f250. We always stay towards The Colony until we get down into the trails. at that point its all city/state land. Pisses me off because on Saturday when I went out there to test my 4x4, there was a nasty couch and loveseat right next to the huge NO TRESPASSING sign. It's idiots like this that **** it up for the responsible ones. The trails are fun right after it just rained, because there is standing water/mud all the way towards the lake.

Ended up not regearing cuz I found out I don't have a Dana 44 like I originally thought. Felt it pointless to spend the money on new carriers and gears and labor just to have the Dana 35 break on me one day. Once I snag up a dana44 I'll regear. Kinda disappointed :( yea once I go next I'll post up in here.

wanted to update a new spot i found this past weekend...

33.226061,-97.054381

put these coordinates in google

some of the land is public hunting land. this is what i have found out so far which is core land:
any of you gurus from earlier in this thread care to shed some light??

also i saw some other dudes out there that "thought" it used to be some kind of park and then privately owned but the owner died or something. idk see what yall can dig up. pretty legit place LOTS of climbs mud holes/pits/ and even some atv trails, that most jeeps can make it through...

Hey, thanks for the info...
I'm in town this week and part of next for work. Got a 2012 JKU for a rental and was lookin for something fun to do with it =0)

Was going to check the colony's area, but this looks like a safer bet (less trouble from the law).

I'll be out there either today and or tomorrow around 4pm - 7pm, and next week on wednesday (3/7) if I can get a 4x4 rental again.

Can't be to crazy since I have to get to work at 10 pm, but sounds like a cool place.
