well today i got my new axles delivered (SOA, 8.8 LS and HP dana 30 loc rite) my newly rebuilt transfer case with a SYE, drive shaft, and 35/12.5/15 comp cut boggers

this is how it looked before the swap

and this is with the front mostly done

tomorrow i will be putting the new transfer case in and do as much as i can with the 8.8 since i have to wait for my u-bolts to show up to finish it.....

well last week I bought a brand new never out of the box warn M8000 for $350 from a local guy so ill be fabing up a new bumper for it to mount inside of and I will also mount the solenoids under the hood for protection from trees water, mud, snow etc....

I have also bought a power steering gear box off of a 97 grand cherokee and a P/S pump from auto zone for $160 so now all i need to do for that is fab some brackets for it....

just a thought on the leaf springs one of my friends took the leaf springs off of a 90's astro van and cut them down since they are made of fiberglass and we have taken his YJ some pretty sick places and they work awesme and he hasn't had any problems with them breaking or cracking, like i said just a thought for ya for a future upgrade

he just used a chop saw and then drilled the holes in the ends to hold the hangers just with a regular drill bit i think, but i know it wasnt that difficult to do.
Could youd you get a picture?

i found ya something even better, try this site. from what i remember he did it the same way and i know he hasn't had any problems despite what some critics may say about them failing. but i do know from when i have been wheelin with him that he got into some sick places and still had all the flex and clearance in all the world is seemed.
