I can't believe nobody has started this thread before, therefore I will start it...

That does sound like a good suggestion.

How do we feel about Cleghorn, everyone???

Couple people I know are getting tired of cleghorn. Which is why I didn't really mention it. I never get tired of it, there are still some spots on the trail that I want to hit.

I'm watching this thread for when I can join in. I'm busy all of October, not sure about my November schedule at the moment. I'm in a stock 2011 Overland, so no rocks for me.

If somebody wants to run Cleghorn this Saturday afternoon I'll be under the freeway bridge at 2pm. For those that are bored do 2n17x after Cleghorn and then Pilot rock and Dishpan that makes for a nice day's entertainment or even tackle Holcomb after that

Im not sure, I would call though...if you you are buying multiple items there get individual prices and negotiate for a packaged deal.

they are about twice as much as the junkyard but definately cheaper than new.

They sell the rebuilt 4.7's for about 1600 and the 4.0 for about 1000

the WHOLE yards if full of JEEPS and some PT Cruiser.

that is probably why the newer jeeps (they have FSJ's too) are hard to find at the JY, they buy them all at the auction before the junkyard does.

They are a dismantling yard so, they pull the part for you.

NOTE: if you drive down there, there will also be another JEEP dismantling shop on the corner block.
Sweet deal! I'm definitely gonna look into that! Finding a wiring harness on a vehicle in the junkyard is hard as hell to find.

Everybody just hacks **** up left and right.

Kinda like I did when I pulled that 5.2 out of that ZJ...

TRIP UPDATE:

So, over the past week we've been planning to get as many people as we can, who are on this thread, and go offroading.

Well, here is what we have (tentatively):

When: Saturday, October 22nd
Trail: Silverwood lake to Delvils hole
Meeting time: 8:45am
Meeting location: Yet to be determined

All we have to do is determine a good meeting location where we can maybe grab some grub, and drinks, and introduce ourselves and shoot the breeze for a few before we head up to the trail.

NOW, BY A SHOW OF HANDS, WHO WILL MAKE KT???

All are welcome to come along - the more the merrier!
