I got a webber 36/36 dgec carb for my 1990 yj I6. the carb is amazing! makes a huge difference but every once and a while when i come to stop (i think its mosty on a stop with a decline) it has a huge idle increase and idles at about 2,100 RPM but if i tap the gas once or twice it goes back to normal. is this normal? i put a spring on the throttle to make sure it wasn't the throttle sticking, its not. any advice?

There is no 32/36DGEC and no, this increase in rpm is not normal.
It could be the result of unseen bind in the linkage, the throttle plate being pulled off center or possibly the choke linkage needs adjustment.

If you can identify this carb and or post an image to a photo host site and post the link to it here.
A pic including this return spring position/location would be helpful.
