Ok people, it's on like Donkey Kong!!!

September 17th, 0800-0900
Coleman's 9N Shady Rest
55660 Wilson River Highway
Gale's Creek, OR 97117

Breakfast, and of course for those who need to hit the Shell Station for permits ($13), snacks, and of course beverages (non-alcoholic type).

I live close to the 217 off SW 99. If anyone wants, we can meet and convoy up. Nothing like seeing a bunch of Jeeps in convoy!!!

islandTJ, what do you say we do the same meeting spot as last time? Chevron/Plaid Pantry parking lot off 217 and 99.

Can't wait to hit the trails again!!! :2thumbsup:

LOL... That's cool! I don't have any lights yet, so no night wheeling for me.
Haha I got like 4 extra lights. There like $25 or $30 lights but they were free! Found em under my runner when I got it. Lol. Just need to mount em somewhere now. Shoulda grabbed the Hellas off my jeep before I sold it too.
But the first like 5 times I went wheeling at night I just did some minor wheeling with only headlights. Lol. Only hit a couple things by accident

Sorry Josh, I had first dibs! ;) LOL
I probably will not have a chance to get then installed, my next few weekends are booked solid... I have to try and hopefully figure out a day to get my new coils and discos installed. If not, I'm still wheeling, but things are hectic right now... I'm leavong to Cali Thursday for the baby shower, then Labor Day my in laws will be in town. I appreciate the offer and I will take you up on it! I'm actually going to get another roof rack cross member to mount lights on. So I will let you know when I have a free day... Lol

Haha. I was thinking the same thing. But not the day of. Cuz I want my doors and top off. Mud is always fun tho. Although my baldish tires might disagree.

WE SHOULD TRY AND HOOK UP ONE EVENING TO GET THOSE COILS AND DISCO'S INSTALLED!
We can do it at my place after work one night, should only take a few hours.
If I get a break from school before we go out, I will let you know. Was going to try Labor Day weekend, but since the in laws are in town, I don't think that's going to happen...
I will keep in touch and see if I can plan a day with you...

Now Now... I've put in some dues here... I've donated alot of FREE time, expertise and more to the JF community, (and other Jeeper Friends too).... so its not like I'm some bum with his hand out or anything..... But I'd have to say my XJ WOULD look pretty tight with some lights on the top! (...just sayin....)

#89 ·
Now now Josh, take a deep breath... LOL
You do have a slick looking XJ, I will admit that I am a bit jealous. BUT... my poor ZJ needs some love...

Luckily I was able to get the 4" RE coils and the discos from a friend I met on Facebook. Almost had a set of adjustable LCA's, but he thinks he already got rid of them... So I think those lights would look good on the top of the ZJ though... :2thumbsup:

Yea i suppose you have some catching up to do in the Jeep Build Dept.
Its' all good, we'll get you hooked up here real soon man.
There's a guy here by my work who's got TWO built XJ's in his driveway. (both older body styles)
But one is bigger than the other, and has these rectangular lights on top, that I wish I could find.
Never have had the chance to flag him down and ask him, and i'd feel weird just going up and knocking on the door...
"hey there fellow Jeeper! you dont know me, but i've been admiring your jeep for a while now and have a few questions for you..." Dee-Tee-Dee!!!! lol

#91 ·
Yes Sir, that I do... I will get there sooner or later. Must be nice to have to rigs to wheel! LOL
I know what you mean about just going up to ask, but it is a good conversation stater. I have seen some kick a$$ rectangular lights on roof racks and bumper. I will keep my eyes out for you... And Josh, you the "Dee-Tee-Dee" so well!!

I'd like to think that Oregon (especially us around the Portland/Metro Area) have the most active Jeep Community anywhere.
And from what I've seen in this thread, certainly one of the most diverse too!
GOTTA LOVE IT!

Haha. Do it. If he responds with a bad attitude just tell him he doesn't deserve his jeeps and leave.

And they say they are "smart" phones!!! Wish they had spell check!
Mine has spell check! Sorta. But it likes to change the words I purposely misspell into words that make no sense in my sentence. Lol.

Mine likes to add words and misspell them... Been looking for an app that will fix that... So far no luck!

Just checked out CF, looks like we may have a big group from there going out as well! This may be a big turn out with a good mix of skill sets from newbie to experienced! I think this trip is going to be a blast!!

If we have to many people are there already plan's to divide up into groups by experience or rig capability and run different sets of trails? I know that when you get more than 15 4x4's waiting to run the same trail, it can sometimes take up a lot of time and makes it hard on the leader/guide.

Also, are there already planned trails that we are going to run? or should we make a list of everyone's favorite trails and start with those trails?
