Is there anyone located in Baldwin county or near by would like to get up with some people to go riding and learn some more about Jeeps.

guys, it sounds like we just need to get together one afternoon. How about Sunday the 26th? Its the last Weekend in the month. How aboout meet at Moe's southwestern grill in Spanish Fort around 5 pm? Im open to suggestions on locations aslong as they serve beer:)

Mobile Jeep Club has a meeting this Thursday, June 16, 6:30 pm at 16th at Moorer-Springhill Library beside Springhill Baptist Church in Mobile. We would welcone the opportunity to meet some of y'all.

Unfortunately, the Library seems to frown upon alcohol consumption in the building... I'm not sure there's been an official ruling on the parking lot, though:cheers2:

I may be able to death wobble my way to Moe's on the 26th. Are they open on Sunday evenings?

Not to complain but mobilejeepclub.com schedule of events hasnt been updated since may 14th.

i know ya'll meet over on the eastern shore from time to time but i can never seem to make it due to irratic work schedules. Maybe ill get lucky and be able to meet up with you guys.

mobilejeepclub just needs an eastern shore chapter. :)

Yeah Moe's is open till 8pm i believe. we could even meet on the causeway, im open to any suggestions on date and location.

I have a Bar in my back yard; and that is no Joke.

Always open to friends and future friends

Oh crap, just remembered, the 26th is my B'day.

#79 ·
That works for me. If ya wanna do it at my place I'll tell ya what kinda set up I got. Bar accomodates about a half dozen bar stools. mini fridge under bar. cable tv for ball games; tables and chairs. all total can seat about 15 to 20. got plenty of coolers also and a grill. If folks wanna chip in for food and drinks or everybody just bring something. I will even be the grill man if ya like. Keep it simple with burgers or dogs or something like that.

Do what I can to help make this happen.

'Sorry about the home page being out-of-date:eek:. If you check out our rides & events forum, we keep things pretty current there.

Unfortunately, our new vice president is not far from being computer illiterate -- he sounds like an "R"-rated version of Yosimetie Sam while trying to use his new "smart" phone. Don't get me wrong, he can be nice, but I think that the recent excessive hours spent lying on 100-plus degree asphalt underneath his abused white LJ have overheated portions of his brain that deal with cognative abilities and judgement:p Some have hinted that his idea of being a vice president is inspired by Joe Biden. In this thursday's meeting, I'll propose that we collect anti-anxiety medication and try to teach him how to update the schedule of events.

A Baldwin county chapter? several of us live in Baldwin county and we try to split our events between Baldwin and Mobile counties.

I'm nearly-always game for meeting up and B.S.'ing about jeeps over a few brewskies. Or better yet, going for a ride (once I fix this death wobble:mad:).

I'm beginning to believe that my jeep without death wobble would be like me without cigars -- it would jut seem unnatural, dogs sleeping with cats, mass hysteria, etc.

Well I'm back together!! I'm up for meeting up as well, although I could care less about the beer part. I have several other friends that would too, but two of them have Toyota.
I just passed you on the way home. Lift and tires look good! Is your Jeep the one I see at Lowes sometimes?

There's a Guy that works there with a Jeep very similar to yours. How are the new gears?

If 25th is a prob, the 26th works for me. I would just like for us to get together and start riding. Would like to check out the Perdido Wildlife Management Area.
