Looking for someone that could help me do a homemade snorkel, vent and waterproof my YJ. not really sure how to do it. Will supply beer and food. I own a machine shop so might be able to help you if you can help me!!
snorkel is already done, just dont know how to waterproof everything right and nobody wants to lend a hand that knows how haha. I am in tabernacle (southern jersey)
Nice how did it turn out any pics I'm not sure how to water proof id do some good looking on google and stuff you have any pics and prices of parts you used id love to try one my self
it ties in to the original air box and sealed the air box good. i wanted to be different and not run it up the side of the window like everyone else. cost about $20 to do. works great, had it swamped up to my hood last weekend and no water in air box at all.
if i am in smaller trails I have a small one that i pop on that just sits out of the hood and wont get hit. also mounted very solid under hood with steel straps
Main thing is your distributor. Also a good idea would be to raise all of your breather tubes as high as possible. Removing all your carpet would help as well.
thanks guys, already rhinolined interior. vents are all raised. just working on electrical
