Anyone in this region. I am in Pensacola so I am mainly talking about Pensacola, Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, and Panama City. Just wondering if there is enough of us to start a club or something. Lets see how many hits we get!

You should go old school and build it. Would be cheaper than buying new with all the goodies on it. After picking up the winch this evening, I will have around 1900 in mine. I have plans for chromoly shafts and locker in D30, then swap in 8.8 rear which will add another 1500 to the total.

If I can get time to buy new MT tires before next weekend then I would like to check out Morris Mountain the 12th. They are open the 2nd and 4th weekend of every month. I may even have a locker in the front by then aswell. Wishful thinking I'm sure.lol I'm in the process of building my winch plate here at work now, so I know it will be mounted and wired by then. Anyone interested?

Hey everyone! I just purchased my first Wrangler, a 2007 Silver JK Rubicon (about a week ago). I got it used from Pensacola Honda. I do detail there and the JK got traded in and I couldn't resist and traded my Civic SI in. I have since been one trip out on some trails off of 87 (Donut Creek and the point). Just wanted to introduce myself!

Welcome to the board and the lifestyle of jeep. As you are in the pensacola area it would be good to join a club there and get some experience on the trail with other wheelers who are knowledgeable. Here is a link to a great club in your area with alot of great and experienced wheelers. They get together for trail rides frequently so it should fit your bill. I go by UABYJ94YJ on that site, say hello.

whoa! I have search long and hard...finally it all paid off i have found a jeep club in Panama City. I am fairly new to panama city, I got here november of last year, and i bought my jeep no long before we moved out here. I am completely new to this whole Jeep lifestyle, but I couldn't be happier. I am really interested in possibly meeting up with some fellow Jeepers out here in PC and maybe I will actually be able to play with my Jeep. I will be the first to say that I am a novice when it comes to all the jeep terms and wheelin'. This is my first 4x4 and the first vehicle i have ever modded in any way...well i didn't do it, i paid someone to do it for me.

So, who in PC wants to be a mentor to a new jeeper?!:D

The local club isn't to active, the forum just went back online a few months ago, but they're good people. There's even a local jeep shop on hwy390, the owners name is Jamie, he's actually selling a ton of stuff on craigslist right now.
