I'm getting some new 31" Goodyear Duratrac shoes for the CRD in a couple days and wanted to see what others have done and what it might look like afterwords. Noticed there are alot of other vehicle specific lift threads here, but none here for KJ's. Sure, a generic owners pic thread, but none specifically for lifted Liberty's with bigger tires. I'll go 1st!!!
Mrs Bcuda's 06 Liberty the day she brought it home dec 05. She ordered it exactly as it sits. Not lifted yet... I'm due to inherit this Libby this fall as we trade in the 01 dodge ram 1500 off road and she gets another new vehicle. The good part, only 23K miles on the libby,
extremely well maintained and is always parked in the garage next to the Bcuda
How many miles do you have on the stock springs? That looks like a lot of lift for a 2.5" spacer set up (I have the same Daystar lift). It seems like you have ZERO sag which would be rare for a 2003.
noticing the bumper/guard you have on the gas tank. Where can I pick up that kind of protection to add to mine? I've heard of rear-end accidents that have caused a gas tank explosion, effectively killing everyone in the Liberty. I'd like to add something to help protect that part, even if it's minimal..
Used but " new to me"
Rock Lizard is doing another SFA on a guy there in Colorado and they are also building a new rear bumper/ tire mount so he offered the old one up to me.
OK here's mine parked next to my managers Rubicon. I'm hoping he will give me a good deal on his wheels when he upgrades to 33's. I'll get some better pics up eventually, these are phone pics.
Hey dude, I saw your Jeep in Elkin yesterday. I was in the brown grand Cherokee with a small lift and roof rack sitting at the Shanghai chinese place. You have a very nice libby! we need to go to uwharrie sometime!!
that's a pretty crd!!! i'm thinking about getting one as a dd and doing the jba 2.5in and some type of air shock then using it as a tow rig for my wrangler, i mean my wrangler doesn't weigh that much, we'll see though...
i haven't heard GREAT things about the fuel mileage... about the same as a diesel truck, but still the torque benefits and just for me to say i own a diesel again would make me smile!! probably from ear to ear, lol
