Can I swap Liberty wheels onto my YJ?

I keep getting conflicting information here, but after I put on a lift, I'd to go from my stock tire size to 235/85/16 BFG ATs (I love the tall and skinny look)

I love the stock look and don't like the look of the satin black Black Rocks or Cragars, so I was hoping to be able to junkyard or ebay a set of 5 on 4.5 16x7 wheels from a Jeep Liberty or Patriot. There are a lot of other wheels that size out there, but I'd love for them to still say Jeep.

So will (the 16") Patriot or Liberty wheels fit on my '95 YJ? If not, are there any other vehicles that would have donor wheels?

I have a Patriot and the wheels have a HUGE amount of backspacing so I believe that is where the issue will be. I tried them on my XJ just to see and I do not believe I would have been able to drive without major rubbing issues, and that was with 225/65/17 tires (Pat has 17" wheels).

Not sure on the BS of the Liberty wheels, but if they are the same then it could be an issue unless you want to run wheel spacers.

Just did a little more research and YJs, Patriots, and Libertys (<--sp?) all have 5 on 4.5 with 5.5 backspacing for an offset of 38mm.

So in theory they would work if you were replacing a tire of the same width. When you go from 215 to 235, that's where I need to figure out if I'll have enough room, I guess.
