im going to be painting my jeep camo and i would like to see what everyone else has done so that i can collect ideas and figure out exactly what im gonna do.... here isthe jeep as she is now
i know everyone has there own thought and no disrespect what so ever but, camo paint stands out way les than a white or red jeep. I just painted my cherokee camo just because i happen to like camo. and the only legal place to go wheelin is about 40 mile away. if it was camo its not to say it is invisible just harder to spot right away.
this is a photoshop of a guy from another forum.. we call him my twin because his jeep is the desert sand color just like mine.. his jeep really isnt painted like this though he was just seeing if itd look cool
and about hte trespassing.... lol the area where i wheel u are supposed to be allowed to drive on b/c its a national park type area but the police always bust ur b@ll$ cuz they see younger people in the woods doing stupid stuff so they assume that ur also doing stupid stuff when, in reality, im just tryin to enjoy my jeep and hte nature
well my computer is stupid and so am i.I can not figure out how to put pictures one here, but as far as the title of the thread goes, my camo cheroke is on www.jpmagazine.com just look for readers rides, then cherokee and mine is a 1990, i think on page 4. and i have the same user name too.
gotta love your jeep flinstone.. i am currently thinking about doing a digi camo similar to yours but with darker colors like brown, black, dark tan. Its gonna have to wait until spring but im thinkin of just making a few block templates to spray the brownand tan because the jeep is already black.
cmon guys there has to be more camo jeeps on here! i saw a camo skull jeep on the apacolypse thread but i dont have enough posts to repost it.... id love to see more military camo jeeps or jeeps with DIY rattle can patterns... post away!!!
i was wondering if anyone had camo parts for a jeep from seat covers and roll bar covers to full on camo paint jobs, if you do could you let me know where you got them?
I have a buddy that does the wraps - he does 30-40 different patterns of camo - including Army ACU, real tree, woodlans, mossy oak, etc.... let me know if you're interested and I can hook you up with him!
Here's a pic of my YJ the day I got it. $750. It's in the process of being stripped for a repaint of a regular color, as I can't deal with this, haha. If it were a good camo job, that would be different.
I'll be in the camo club shortly. I've just started wrapping mine with a little vinyl. I'll post more pics when completed in a week or two.
