I grew up in Corning and know where a couple of good trails are and I go back about once a month to run them. I now live in Penn Yan and I am looking for more places to go wheeling with the 05 TJ here and in the Rochester area as well. Anyone know of other trails in this area that are available? Anyone Jeeping in the Corning area, I will send you lat long coordinates of the trails I know. Thanks.

Well posted this in another tread but fits here too... Would love the cords for the other trails too need to get out more jeeps too clean.

Let me know if you find any... Im from Geneva... need mud

My folks have 70 acres on the other side of seneca lake from you and we wheel there sometimes but the same 4 trails get old.

I hear you. It's about the same for me. I know these unimproved roads near Corning and that's it. I am working on organizing a trip to Whispering Pines with some of my coworkers. It looks like fun. Here are the map coordinates for the places in Corning. N42.19974 W77.07285 is the bottom of a road in Hornby. N42.13590 W77.06713 takes you onto Higman Hill. N42.22288 W77.04913 is not as fun as Cook Rd. but there is usually a puddle at the bottom. N42.28436 W76.99753 is an ATV trailhead that I have not tried yet. Have fun.

Allways try to get to Whispering Pines never actualy make it up there, shot sporting clays there a few times but never got off road. Have a few jeep buddys up this way and one of us is allways has work or something in the way, dont dare go alone without a recovery buddy. I will try out the trails in Corning and am looking to get my jeep buddies together for a weekend trip or something to PA to one of the offroad parks...

Also a jeep club in Rochester www.fingerlakes4x4.org have not looked into it much, just got the TJ in april

I checked them out and right now they don't seem to have too much planned this fall. I am on my 5th Jeep and 2nd TJ. I had a 93 YJ I bought new and kept for a year and got my first TJ, a 2000 SE, 13 months ago. Loved it so much that I traded it on the current 2005 Sport. Stock (for now) except for 31's, billet shift knob (from a Honda), and I replaced the RBK CD player with a RAZ CD-Cassette to run my BB with a cassette adapter. Just keep waving.
