I am currently running a D Cepek 4" lift, and I am wanting to install Metalclok front and rear fenders along with 33" tires. I would like to remove my lift and start over with something close to stock ? I would like some suggestions on a good way to set this up. The jeep is on the road 70% of the time, and the rest is on mild Idaho trails.

I know the spacer would work, but I would prefer just a spring. I think you are right the OME HD would work just fine. Would there be any benefits in changing the controll arms to adjustable?

I had this:

Stock suspension (shocks, springs, CA's, stock isolators), 33 x 12.5 R15 tires, and a 1" BL. It would have looked better without the BL but performed the same.

Currently I have 33 x 10.5 R15 BFG AT's, Fox 2.0 remote res shocks, H&R progressive springs, and it rides great. When I have my front shafts in, the Super 35 installed, and the new gears I am going to 35's with lots of room to spare. I test fitted, and flexed it to the bump stops, and no rubs. I can try to post an update pic, if you are thinking about doing some suspension mods.

If it was my jeep this is what I would do.
Get some stock springs and 1" spacers (if needed)
1" body lift and mml
Keep the longer shocks and relocate mounts (and outboard rear if necessary)
TT and gas tank tuck(or aftermarket gas tank skid w/ tuck)

That would be pretty good for mild trails plus a little.

I dont see alot of aftermarket options for stock height springs, so going with the factory stock ones look like the way to go. By running this set up it would also eliminate the need for a sye correct?

For me it rode well with the all stock suspension. I have an UCF transfer case skid, and it all works without a SYE, and no need for aftermarket control arms. I feel like the stock control arms limit flex somewhat, but I don't think flex is everything. Having a low center of gravity and a stable platform made a big difference on off-camber trails, and it's hard to beat stock reliability in suspension components. Ground clearance was occasionally a bit of an issue, but keeping momentum up really helped.

Further to RS4's comment and suggestions for your Jeep, here is my current full spec. It is the best riding Jeep I have been in on the road:
- Metal Cloak fenders with 4" flares
- H&R 1" lift progressive springs (not really 1" lift if you have heavy stuff like Metalcloak corners, a back seat, and a heavy tire carrier)
- Fox 2.0 shocks with compression adjusters (the compression adjusters are key for getting a good ride)
- Outboarded rear shocks & relocated lower mounts, BPE's in the front
- Front Currie Antirock
- UCF Transfer case skid
- 1" Daystar BL, 1" MORE MML, Novak transfer case shifter
- 33" tires, BFG AT's for fuel economy and road manners
- 4.10 Gears with Truetracs in the front and back

Still to address/install/Phase 2:
Savvy GTS, RCV front shafts, 4.88's, ARB rear, Super 35, EBC brake upgrade, HD tie rod. I have some of these parts, and they're going in at once, when I have the pile complete.

If you relocate the shock mounts then 10-11" travel shocks front and 1" shorter in the rear or same as front. If you don't relocate shock mounts then you will have to extend bumpstops and be careful over speed bumps.

Stock are about 8" travel shocks.

rs4race, I would have to extend my bumpstops with stock suspension and shocks to prevent it from overextending my shocks? What if I just went with longer shocks with the stock locations?
