Questions about trac bar and axle centering

I am new to the forum and I have to say this is one of the best sources of information that I have found.

So I picked up my 98 Sahara a couple of months ago and it is time to let the mods begin. I have been reading the forum here for several weeks now and I am pretty sure where I want to go, and how to get there, but I do have some questions that I can't seem to find answers to.

First, here is where I am:
- 2" spring spacers
- 1" body lift (?)
- sway bar disconnects
- 31 x 10.50

And where I am going (for now):
- 4" RC Series II (possibly X Series depending on $$)
- shocks
- SYE & CV shaft
- new disconnects
- adjustable track bar
- 33 x 12.50

My questions are:
When looking at the front sway bay I have noticed that the disconnect on the passenger side is almost touching the frame and on the other side there is about a 1" gap. It also looks the tires are off as well. Could this be due to the track bar being off due to the 2" spacers?

As I am under there this weekend checking thinks out what should I be looking for as far as what could be worn out, or needing to be replaced. I would like to do everything that I can while I have a shop for the lift kit install.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Dolan

first advice is join a jeep club or offroad club in your area and have an experienced jeep guy look it over. 2nd advice is take pics and post.third is yes, that sounds like the issue

Yes. That is the explanation. If its not actually rubbing and if you are planning on an adjustable TB with higher lift then don't worry about it for now.
