Where did you get your tinted signal lenses? I have been looking for them and have not had any luck? Back on topic, have you had any problems with the cops hassling you for not having fenders? Or do you not normally run them like that? And what corner guards are you running? That is something else I have been looking for and havent found any good ones for the 2drs with flush mount tail lights.

Fenders are not required here in TX.

You'll need to check your state's laws.

That first pic is nice, until I saw the person in the backseat which freaked me out.

I like the idea of no fenders or very small fenders... the write up on jkowners.com on trimming the stock fenders down to almost nothing, is a great write up. When I get my JK, thats what im doing. because of the way the fenders mounting area is recessed into the tub, it makes it hard to just go fenderless... it would be cool if they made a "cap" that snapped in place of the fender, but would make the area flush with the tub.

Yep, and I just ordered the Rancho Rear bumper and tire carrier. That bumper just doesnt look good with the fenders off and Im tired of having to take my rear seat out just carry my spare.
the bumper is what has stopped me from going fenderless. I have the Rugged Ridge rear bumper, which is full length. I considered removing my fenders, and then realized it would look stupid having that bumper sticking out there and no fenders. I'll probably go with tube fenders eventually.

yeah thats the reason i got it was a guy ordered a jk one for a tj on deployment and when he got back noticed to late so i got it for 200 bucks in the box, i rock crawl alot so it gets a lil beat up but when you install it your tow point gets removed unless you have a tow package. which for me needing clearence is not an option. i used it to pull a nissan out of snow once and it broke the swing bolt in half swang " yes im southern" open and destroyed a tail light. it never lined up right so it was a pain in mud to get to shut. also my high lift did not line up and could only attach it on one side. i still have my old bumper ill pry put back on. I dont know any others i never looked but i guess with some elbow grease you can make it better but i have a bad taste for it.

thx man :) i bought the cheapest ones possible at kragen in case i roll the thing or hook them on a rock/tree or something stupid...which is what nearly happened to the fenders which is why i took them off lol it's very manageable though. no real difference except for when there is rain. it shoots up some pretty gnar rooster tails. seriously tho, the thing has the aerodynamics of a shoe box, so i go slow on the hwy...with that, i havent noticed any change.

the bracket is just the bracket that holds the fenders on. if you look at the first pic in the thread with teh 2 fenderless JK's you'll see the bracket there too :)

What corners are you running. I just bought new tail lights and corners that are smoked but I have been looking for corners that run inset circular lights and havent found any for the 2 door that are worth a damn but yours look awesome!

UPDATE I got the fronts taken off and finished the rears. Fronts are painted and I just got some cheapo fog lights for the brackets in the front but I dunno if I wanna deal with wiring them up yet or not. Seems like its going to be a lot of work running the wires and the cutting the dash for the switch.... But I LOVE the way my jeep looks like this... It looks like a competition Jeep or something. I dont think those fenders are ever going back on... But I will eventually get the poison spyder fenders or something like them.

Looking good, Milman:cheers2:
I've had the Rancho rear for about 9 months, and I have no problems with it. It too a dremel grinder to get the fit right during installation, but hey.....
My only problen with it is that is leaves the rear corners totally naked, and if you come off a rock or something, it's begging to get body damage:confused: So far, my bumper has taken the hits!
Yes, I have tiny tires, and no, a tree took my fender off!

Yeah, I know that about GA.... They have a lot of laws like that but they definitely do not enforce them... All the chevy's driving around GA on 44's and up tells me that.... About MD, Im pretty sure that me being a soldier that has a home of record in GA, a GA drivers license, and all that Jazz I should be pretty good to go... But if worse comes to worst then I will simply throw the flares back on, I already ordered the clips to do so if that is what it comes to.

I LIKE IT! best part is that from the side, if you were standing oh say 20 ft away, you wouldn't know it was fenderless because of the paint... looks nice
