Help me out here anyone i have a 90 YJ which isnt too stock but the engine and tranny are and there is a pipe running under the tranny but in front of the exaust pipe that is about the size of a quater in diameter i need to know what this is because mine seems to be bent and has a few holes in it ... sorry if this sounds stupid but hey i need some help please tell me what it is and how hard it would be to fix it it runs from the engine under the tranny back up to the engine again thanks alot!
is it coming off the exhaust manifold? If it is I don't know what it is for, but Mine was starting to rot bad so I cut it off and welded the holes shut a year ago, haven't had any ill effects yet.
I also have it on my '88 YJ .. but my buddies '87 did not have it. When I got his engine into my Jeep, I kept that pipe thing .. made no real different in the drivability.
